Blogging Feedback 2

According to Rebecca I have maintained a strong blog. There are a few things however that I need to improve on:

*Post 11 has SCROLL DOWN TO SEE in the title, so you shouldn't click right. It is completed*

Things to improve on:
I will complete the following posts 19 (which I have completed at this point) 17 and 18, Once I have completed these I will also go on to doing post 37
Personal improvement: use more ICT, and make more posts weekly to boost my blogging grade and overall post count.

Today's Lesson

Today we filmed green screen shots as well as black background base tracks, we then embarked on completing a colour correction test on those shots to see if we could improve them and their overall tint.

After altering the RGB settings to the most recently filmed base track against the black background I added a minor Blue tint, decreased the gamma, increased the black input slightly and decreased the black output.

Before entering the site, there is a pop-up. This is used to grab the viewers attention and encourage them to Pre-Order the snapback - which, in terms on the type of language, the phrase "Pre-Order your I Play Dirty snapback now" is an imperative, which orders us instead of asks, or suggests. It's a very good promotional strategy technique to use, especially since this is a new brand by Krept and Konan.

The homepage looks very professionally photographed and edited as well as laid out. It makes us believe Krept and Konan are serious about their work and are dedicated to making a good product - musically and physically - for their fans, which encourages us to support their brand by buying their products, just by how the models model the clothes so well.

The video is essentially about how they have just begun this new website, using real life models and professional set with skilled photographers to better their brand and their image as artists. They promote the clothes, telling us what they have now - they have a bigger range of clothes and accessories, and have even started a line for female size, saying they are "branching out".

Blogging health check 2 feedback

This is my blogging feedback from my teacher after the second health check. I have gone up one mark from last time as you can see from 13 to 14 which has now changed my grade from C to B.

My teachers comments are very good as she has said that I have 50 posts and that I'm including good detail.

 

My improvements however, are;

 * To embed ICT more into the blog instead of using links.

* Try to not blog in order as this will help presentation and organisation if similar posts were linked together.  

* I should also try to take photos of handouts less and use ICT more and should use photo presentations or ICT to make the photos easier to view.

* I should now post a completed storyboard on to the blog.

 

I think this is a fair grade to be honest because even though I have improved since last time I still need to improve quite a bit with presentation and ICT skills but I am happy with the extra mark because my Grade has now changed to a B. For the first and final blogging check I'd like to get a 16 which is 2 more marks from my current mark now because that is grade A.

Post Pitch Analysis (By Charlie)

This is my prezi for me and my group of the feedback from our pitch. The presentation shows what went well for our group in the pitch and what we needed to improve on. I have then come back to the presentation after a week to update the things we have added or improved upon such as a Synergy post, a storyboard and updated shot-lists.

I finished the storyboard for our music video. Obviously, since it's almost impossible to stick to the storyboard when out shooting, this is just a general guideline for our group to follow, so when we go out to shoot, are taking in what the storyboard holds, however if a location doesn't work for us (including the Granary Square, since we found out other groups from other classes are also thinking about shooting here), we might go somewhere else. At the moment the Estate doesn't seem to be working, however we have a lot of cutaway type of shots from the places we have filmed already so we could just use those throughout. Our goal, however is to have a costume change in between from poor to rich and the setting to clearly change from bad to good, so the video has some depth and story to it, like the small acting parts in the here.
